Ico

In a village there sits an ancient curse, where once every generation a child is born with horns. Ico was the boy this generation, settled with the blame for all the misfortune in his village. As he grew old enough to realize the inequality in the way he was treated, Ico felt more and more like an outcast in his own village, but was constantly determined to try and win their hearts. He worked hard when given a job, learned to not argue, and apologized for any mistakes even if it wasn’t his fault. Like any other child, he only wanted to be loved by his parents and the people around him, but it never happened, and because of this Ico grew soft spoken and quiet. He spent all the time he could alone, wishing he could join in on any recreation. It’s worth noting that he never grew bitter, only compliant.
